One of the highlights of the year for me was the Bray Airshow. It’s an event that even though the wind and rain just kept on coming the large crowd stayed and enjoyed the show by the incredibly skilful pilots.
Here’s a selection of the shots I’m happy to put on the blog! Incidentally this was the first time out with my 70-200mm f2.8 Nikon lens. Even with the 2x Tele the quality was superior to anything I had shot before.

DIY projects are a great reminder that useful things don’t always have to come from a store. There’s something grounding about learning through small mistakes and ending up with an object that carries your own effort in it.
