The D800 has just arrived (via Conns Cameras).
Click here for my first (unprocessed) straight from the camera JPEG!
Here’s a shot of a heron in the local park link
And of a few daffodils in the same park
Better shots will be uploaded when I get out and about… Leave a comment if you want me to upload the NEFs.
nice shot, hoping for mine tomorrow, looks like a nice day in Ireland, I’m in western Canada watching as my deck gets covered in snow AGAIN. 😉
cheers
Thanks for the comment, I did some post processing and the image just took on a life of its own. I’ll stick up a few more shortly…
Wish we had a bit of snow over here… It would beat the cold, wet & miserable weather we always get! 😉
Beautiful images,
Please, can you comments about the lens and tripod if you have used it?
Thanks, from Olvera in the sud Spain.
Jose María.
Hi,
Anything I’ve been shooting has been either a 50mm f1.4D or the 28-300mm. I’ve noticed a few focus issues with both lenses (the autofocus on some DX lenses I’ve tried has been bang on so I’m doubting a backfocus issue).
Also to answer your other question, I shoot handheld all the time. It will lead to a lot of shots that need to be deleted due to blur but it’s way more flexible.
Thanks for your comment,
Ross
